Monthly Photo Challenge: The Changing Seasons 08

Very late in the month, just in time for the eighth monthly photo challenge, hosted by Cardinal Guzman. We went to the Mostly Mozart Festival (3 x), ate Chef’s pasta in a restaurant close by, enjoyed Tudor City in the dogs days of August. Went to Williamsburg and Greenpoint, across the river. August has some car-free Saturday mornings. Fao-Schwarz, the famous toy shop, closed its shop on 59th and Fifth. HammarskjΓΆld Plaza has a farmer’s market on Wednesdays. And some more buildings that won’t be there, next year. I also took a panorama photo of Central Station, from the Apple store. All photos were taken in the month of August. It was still nice enough to eat outside. The building across the street is almost done and we had yet another beautiful evening.

Love the shot of those heirloom tomatoes! I didn’t know that about the FAO Schwartz store closing, thanks for the update.

    • Thank you! I did not know either, but unfortunately, there are quite a number of shops that closed. That same day, we saw that Crate & Barrel had closed its shop, you could not even see it had been there!
